ABOUT ASC SELECT
Auburn Soccer Club’s Competitive Program begins at the U12 age group and continues through a player’s U19 season, providing a complete pathway for athletes seeking the highest levels of development, commitment, and competition. Our Select teams are led by our most experienced coaches and train in an environment designed to challenge, inspire, and elevate motivated players.
League Play & Competitive Pathways
Select teams have multiple competition options to ensure the best developmental environment for each group:
- Alabama State League
- Teams may compete in the Premier 1 or Challenger divisions. These divisions offer high- level competition within the Alabama Soccer Association and provide the opportunity to compete for Alabama State Championships, with State Champions advancing to the USYS Regional Championships each summer.
- SCCL (Southeastern Clubs Champions League)
- Some teams compete in the SCCL, a strong, regionally based league centered around the Atlanta area, offering consistent, challenging matches against top clubs.
This structure allows Auburn Soccer Club to place each team in the league environment that best matches its competitive level and long-term development goals.
Training Environment
Select players train in a high-performance setting focused on comprehensive development:
- Three practices per week led by licensed senior coaches
- Dedicated Goalkeeper Training throughout the season
- Opportunities to attend multiple competitive tournaments each season
This structure ensures players receive elite-level technical, tactical, physical, and mental training.
